In Italy there are numerous institutes which are specialized in political polls. Among these we have: Ipsos, Ipr Marketing, Ispo, Tecnè, Euromedia Research. They all supply research that strictly follows scientific criteria but some of these have a political nature. For example, Euromedia Research is led by Alessandra Ghisleri, who is considered the pollster Silvio Berlusconi trusts the most. On the other hand Swg is considered to be closer to the left-wing.
